Sirloin has a big, beefy flavour with creamy fat along the outside. It is the most popular steak of choice in the UK. Our preference is pan-seared and finished with lots of butter, basted onto the meat towards the end of cooking.

229 is the number of days between the buds breaking on the vine in spring and the leaves beginning to fall in Autumn. This Syrah from our friends at Xavier Roger in Southern France is bold and full-bodied. It has juicy blueberries and black olives. It's juicy and silky soft.
