The Beef we use is sourced from local suppliers who use beef reared in Lancashire and Yorkshire, so that you can be sure you are getting the best British beef that has been raised on natural grass from farms in the north of England.

Our butchers are proud of the quality of our beef, and to ensure its flavour we hang our beef for a minimum of 28 days. Maturing the beef tenderises the meat, making it a pleasure to eat.

Several of our joints are cut specifically for roasting. Our bestselling cut is topside, which we recommend you cook low and slow to keep it juicy and tender. Its excellent value for money as the quality is higher than you might expect to receive.

We have become renowned for our steaks. We offer a needling service, using machinery imported from the USA which tenderises our meat. This allows the juices to self-baste the meat during the cooking process. The final result is a steak which is delicious and effortless to cut. 

The fillet is something called the king of steaks. We offer chateaubriand perfect for 2 to share or for making Wellington. We also offer barrel cut fillet in a variety of weights. Finally we offer the more affordable fillet tail, which can we be used for a variety of dishes, our favourite is stroganoff.

Our range includes bone in steaks such as tomahawks, cut off the rib; or the famous cote de beuf.  These need high heat to help render the fat and provides a steak with extra flavour when cooked on the bone. 

Rib eyes are full of flavour! Cooking the steak surrounded by its natural layer of fat, and containing a good marbling results in a juicy, tasty treat.

Sirloin is a real classic. With a nice trim of fat along the outer edge and good marbling of fat contained within, the sirloin is a regular favourite with our customers. 

Perhaps our most surprising steak is the rump. Often overlooked by others who don't know how to prepare it, our rumps are tender, tasty and close textured. A real meat lover's choice.
